iBongers

...long overdue update.

I've setup a private project on assembla.com to handle the porting and evolution of kazrace to iPhone.
Assembla seems like a nice system to cooperate or, at least, to have a few people keep up to date with the progresses (if you are a friend of mine and would like to follow the development, just let me know and I'll add you to the list of "watchers").

On the right there is a nice screenshot that I just got tonight (notice the time in the title bar !).

I've been busy with other things as well.. my sister coming to Japan visiting for one.

I've also had a nice farewell party from the company, and I got a cool Logitec (Logicool in Japan !) diNovo Edge keyboard.
It's actually quite nice ! Numeric keypad-less, Bluetooth, incorporated trackpad, nice keys.
The layout screws up the IBM CUA shortcuts, but, on the other hand, I've been using VI key bindings even in Visual Studio, so I don't rely on CUA as much anymore.

I haven't had much time for RibTools, though I finally put online some sort of presentation.
Using SlideShare, some colors came out wrong (especially the micropolys drawing), but the rest seems OK.

  1. Cool!

The dioNovo keyboard is something I'd like to get as well for my new media player nettop (ASRock ION 330HT), but it's quite pricey I see... Guess I'd need to try leave my job and solicitate my colleagues to get me one! ;)

But does it only work from within the OS?

  2. ..I suppose that one can always smash the keys even without any OS, or any computer for that matter ;)
